A timbre (rendered with something akin paul naşca’s padsynth algorithm) which has partials of form m + n φ where φ is the golden ratio, and m, n are integers. Though not all the partials, just such a set that this all resembles a usual harmonic timbre. This sequence starts. 1. 000001. 618032. 618033. 618034. 236075. 236075. 854106. 854107. 854108. 47214. This sequence is of several powers of φ up and down from 440 hz (φ⁻² to φ⁵). Look at the spectra for a full dose of xen.

Composite several recordings of large coins (silver dollars, ike dollars, 50 cent pieces) dropped on a carpet from about 25cm. The aim was to make it sound like lots of money was falling out of a secret compartment - much like a slot machine.

Nicely looped bells, struck and spun together like potlids. It's a shorter loop so probably best along with other things.

Hello, this is the_very_real_horst out of duisburg, germany. Sound you'r listening to belongs to two little tibetan silver bowls;those normaly were used in couples of two, three, seven or nine as sacrificial bowl on home altar of tantric buddhisme, with rice, water, salt etc. For they have different sound, i pushed them with my ancient pendant of alittle chinese sword; that i find it sounds good;. Thank you for sharing my interest for ancient musicinstruments. Joy and peace on your way,the_very_real_horst from duisburg, germany.

Fast moving stream down from one of the waterfalls at silver falls state park in oregon. Water is flowing over rocks. Recorded, sorry to say, on my canon t3i mounted on tripod about 3 feet from the water so there is very little stereo separation. Runs at about -10db. Enjoy, i plan to upload more from my trip. Free to use, but if used commercially it would be nice if you can add "marcus pun" to the credits, and i hope you do that with any sound you use from freesounds. ;o).
